Thank you for taking part in AfrikaBurn this year. While it’s still fresh in your mind, we’d love you to let us know how you feel about your time spent in Tankwa Town.

This survey has been designed to be as simple as possible, while covering as much as possible. All your feedback will remain anonymous, and if you’re uncomfortable with any questions, please feel free to skip them.

This survey can take up to 20 minutes to complete, so grab a pancake, put on your thinking helmet, and grab a quiet moment to let us know how it all went down. We know how tricky it is to find 20 minutes, but your feedback helps make everything in Tankwa Town better next year, not just for you, but for all of us.

You can continue this form even if your internet dies. The data will remain on the screen, and it will submit when you reconnect to the internet (in most cases). Additionally, you can save and resume your survey – this allows you to come back and complete it within 30 days. Go to the footer or the end of this form and click ‘Save and resume later.’

Become a Dust Devil

You’re home, you’ve shaken off the dust – but just can’t shake the afterglow?

There’s a way to keep the flame alive – and it’s by becoming a Dust Devil. By making a monthly contribution, you become a founding advocate who supports our work beyond the Binnekring:

  • supporting rural teaching assistants and covering learners’ school fees,
  • facilitating animal welfare inspections in the Tankwa
  • funding skills transfer, urban public art and community-based creative activities

About You…

Please note that all your demographic information remains private, and none of this information will be used, excepting the aggregation of data.
Did you attend AfrikaBurn 2026 – Through The Prism?
If you didn’t attend AfrikaBurn, please don’t fill in this survey as you’ll skew all the results.
Please select the years you have attended AfrikaBurn:
(Or can remember attending AfrikaBurn.)
What race/ethnicity best describes you?
AfrikaBurn shows up as the photo negative of South African society, and we’re trying to change this bit by bit, year by year. While asking people about their race or ethnicity can be awkward in South Africa, it’s important for us to know this so we can be better.
We took the population group breakdowns from StatsSA.
What age group are you in?
We like to think AfrikaBurn is an event for all ages, but is it really? This question helps us to answer that.
