Being out in the desert for a long period of time while doing this type of work is hard for most people. It can be not only physically draining but emotional and mentally. Are you aware of this? *

While we are the most warm and accepting group of people in the whole world, extreme circumstances in the desert, as well as the challenges of a large-scale experimental event, can really affect any symptoms so please be honest here, and make sure you're prepared with enough medication, support structures, etc.

Again, this will not adversely affect your application - it is important for us to know so that we can draw up a suitable medical plan for you. The nearest hospitals are at least a 4 hour and extremely bumpy drive away from site.

Are there any specific concerns you would have about your own wellbeing while being out there?

You will miss the ocean/wifi/your mom. You may get grumpy waking up every morning before the sun. Having your neighbour only a tent wall away will affect your sleep patterns. You are allergic to dust/ash/dirty socks.

How long before the event are you available? *

We need you to give us your time - the first 'main crew' shuttle is expected to leave on the 28 March 2026 from AB HQ.

How long can you stay after the event? *

Last of the main crew is expected to leave site on the 24 May 2026.

What's the longest dirt road you've travelled on without a fuel stop?

IMPORTANT: You need to survive with limited (or no!) internet access for the time you are on site. Are you able to do this?
